boldyouttotheblackIt's not that she doesn't appreciate the pie. She does, and Bones is amazing at cooking it. She has a slice of each flavour on a plate next to her.
However. However.
"It doesn't make sense to celebrate Pi Day."
She's frustrated. Annoyed, really. And writing out the digits of pi rapidly on a piece of notebook paper, to help prove her point.
"Pi has trillions and trillions of digits, so technically we haven't even reached the first Pi Day. Even if people want to consider 2015 a 'true' Pi Day because the first five digits are three point one four one five, it wouldn't be because the next digit is nine which makes it round up to six. Even 2016 didn't really count because we don't actually round it off there. We stop at three point one four, or some people smash it in with the Ides of March because they lob it off at three point one five which makes no sense either because that's not how rounding works."
She's covered the back of the first sheet and is onto her second sheet of paper.
